About Us

Ken Dobel and Bruce Nemitz were both raised on farms in Minnesota, where the strong work ethic, problem solving, and hands-on skills started at an early age. After graduating high school, both Ken and Bruce pursued opportunities in the construction industry, eventually joining the same company and spending over 30 years working side by side on large projects across the country. After working together on multiple projects, they built a trusted partnership.

In 2016, Ken and Bruce turned their shared experiences into something of their own by founding Bison Contracting, Inc. With a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability, the company established across a wide range of large-scale projects all across the country. Building on that success they have continued to expand their capabilities by launching Ready Mix operations in multiple states to better serve growing demand while maintaining the same commitment to excellence that started it all.
